Fixes and Improvements
1. Threat Prevention Endpoint and Threat Prevention Network: We have effectively tackled the issues caused by changes in Apple’s processes, particularly related to their NetworkExtensionSystems APIs. As a result, the DNS resolution issue has been resolved.
2. Unified Endpoint Management: We have fixed a bug in the Device Info section of the dashboard (previously “Active Clients”). This bug occasionally caused duplicate entries of the same Hostname to be generated. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring accurate and unique Hostname entries in all instances.
3. Patch & Asset Management: We fixed minor bugs and made improvements.
4. Next-Gen Anti-Virus: We fixed minor bugs and made improvements.

Patch & Asset Management
The OS Updates submodule has been adjusted to suit Apple’s new, restrictive OS update method, introduced on the Silicon chips. The dashboard and agent flows are extensively revamped, as follows:
Endpoint Settings > Mac OS GP > Patch & Assets > Operating System updates
GP section now includes new options:
- Operating System Updates: This option allows you to enable or disable the submodule;
- Download New Updates When Available: This feature automatically downloads available updates in the background, eliminating the need for manual checks;
- Install macOS Updates: This function installs available OS updates, ensuring that your device is always running the most recent and secure version of the OS;
- Install Application Updates from the App Store: This feature automatically updates apps installed from the App Store, ensuring that your apps are always updated to the latest and most secure version;
- Install Security Responses and System Files: This function installs available security updates and other important system files, ensuring that your device remains secure and stable;
- Check Interval [min]: This setting allows you to determine the time interval at which the macOS Heimdal Agent checks for new updates.

Following the recent Apple update, all functionalities associated with OS Updates Categories and Reboot, including the “Select what action to take” drop-down list, have been removed. We no longer have the ability to control installation, exclusion, and other similar commands. The Pending and Error views have been entirely removed. This is the new page layout:
