Application Control intercepts processes that are running on the endpoint and reports them in the HEIMDAL Dashboard. The most common issues that were reported were caused by misconfiguration or misunderstanding of the functionality.

BEHAVIOR: I have allowed the application's executable file to run but the application is not running or it is throwing an error.
SOLUTION: the application's executable file might run another executable/process in the background and this is why the configured rule needs to allow spawns of other child processes. This can be fixed by enabling the Spawn tick box in the ruleset.
