The HEIMDAL Partner Reports provide partners with a consolidated view of customer licensing, device metrics, and billing data across their entire ecosystem. These reports are designed to streamline auditing, tracking, and monthly billing reconciliation.
Report Timeframes & Date Selection
When generating a Partner Report, you can look back at data from the last month or specify a past custom interval. When selecting a custom timeframe, you only need to specify the Start Date. The system will automatically set the End Date exactly 1 month after your chosen Start Date. This 1-month reporting window is fixed and cannot be manually adjusted.
Types of Partner Reports
You can generate two distinct types of Partner Reports depending on the data you need to extract:
1. Device Info Report
This report provides a detailed breakdown of device counts and licensing statuses across your customer base. When generating a Device Info Report, you must choose one of three filtering options to narrow down the data:
- All Customers: Includes every single customer under your partner account, regardless of their assigned licensing type.
- Monthly Billing Customers Only: Filters the report to include only the customers currently on a Monthly Billing licensing model.
- Non-Monthly Billing Customers Only: Filters the report to include only customers who are not on a Monthly Billing licensing model (e.g., annual, perpetual, or trial licenses).
2. Monthly Billing Info Report
This report is specifically tailored for financial and account reconciliation. It aggregates and extracts billing-specific metrics for your active accounts over the designated 30-day period, making it easy to plug directly into your internal invoicing or accounting workflows.
How to Generate a Report
1. Log into your Heimdal Dashboard with your reseller/distributor user account.
2. Navigate to the Admin section -> Customer Management -> Usage Reporting.
3. Select your desired report type (Device Info Report or Monthly Billing Info Report).
4. Choose your timeframe (Current last month or select a past Start Date). If you are running a Device Info Report, select your customer licensing filter (All, Monthly, or Non-Monthly).
5. Click Generate to download or view the report.
What does a Partner Report include
The data inside consists of a granular breakdown structured around the following core areas:
- Account Hierarchy: It maps out the relationship between the partner organization (DISTRIBUTOR/RESELLER NAME) and the specific customers being managed (END USER).
- Module-by-Module Breakdown: For every major Heimdal security solution—including DNS Security (Network and Endpoint), Patch & Assets, Infinity Management, Next-Gen Antivirus, Ransomware Encryption Protection, Privileged Access Management, Application Control, Email Security, Remote Desktop, TAC, TAC UI & M365, and MXDR—the sheet tracks exactly how many active deployment slots are occupied.
- Environment & License Type Segregation: Within each individual module, the data splits numbers precisely into Endpoints, Servers, or Seats where applicable, while simultaneously filtering out active Trial counts so you can differentiate between evaluated features and fully licensed deployments.
- Licensing Summaries: The final sections of the report aggregate global asset metrics, displaying the total number of Enabled Modules, the collective count of active Devices, and the hard cap on Purchased Licenses to help flag under-utilization or overages instantly.
