New versions of the Heimdal Release Candidate (RC) and Production dashboards are now live.
The fresh dashboard versions roll out with two new extra reports, on top of the massive reporting upgrades that became available approximately two weeks ago.
We are referring to the NIS2 and SOC reports that offer powerful insights into the compliance posture of your IT estates and useful information about the activity of our 24/ 7/ 365 Managed Extended Detection & Response (MXDR) service.

● NIS2 Report
The Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2) marked a significant shift in cybersecurity across the European Union and, at the same time, posed an arduous challenge for many organizations, since its introduction, in December 2022.
Outdated physical security and/ or information technology infrastructure are one of the top challenges for 57% of EU companies, according to the 2025 State of the Physical Security Report. However, with cyber threats becoming more sophisticated, damaging, and widespread, staying vigilant and remaining compliant is more crucial than ever.
That’s why we, at Heimdal, valuing the importance of compliance, while trying to keep cybersecurity as simple, easy and efficient for our customers and partners, introduced the brand new NIS2 report.
It offers you a single pane of glass scrutiny about your organization's adherence to the updated NIS2 Directive.
This report includes details on how your organization meets the directive’s requirements for cybersecurity risk management and incident reporting, allowing you to successfully prepare and adjust for audits, regulatory checks or, as part of your cybersecurity framework, to demonstrate readiness and resilience against cyber menaces.
With the completely revamped, versatile Reporting & Alerting section structure, you are now able to pull (on email or download as .pdf) on-demand or scheduled NIS2 reports, as per your preference.
In order to generate an on-demand NIS2 compliance report, you need to navigate to Reports -> On demand reports tab -> Standard view and click the “Generate on demand report” button.
Clicking the “Generate on demand report” button opens the Generate report modal window, in which you can choose the type of report they wish to generate - in our case, the NIS2 report.
Post clicking the “Next step” button, you can define the configuration of your report (time frame of the report – max. 30 days, time zone, date format, language, co-branding options).
After configuring the report only one step remains, clicking the “Confirm” button, which instantly sends the report to the logged-in account mailbox and displays a green toast notification announcing the report was successfully sent.
All generated reports are then displayed in the “On demand reports” -> Standard view table and can be downloaded from the “Status” column, by clicking the “Download button”, which exports a .PDF version of the report.
For pulling out scheduled NIS2 compliance report, you need to navigate to Reports -> Scheduled reports tab -> Standard view and click the “Generate scheduled report” button.
Subsequently, the same steps as in the case of on-demand NIS2 report generation are to be followed, with the addition of the selection of recipients substep in the Generate NIS2 report modal window and the selection of the schedule type (Weekday, Day of month or Recurrence).
Reseller roles will be able to also configure the desired Corp. Customers which the on-demand and scheduled NIS2 reports are generated for.
The Heimdal NIS2 report tracks up to 80% of NIS2 Article 21 control areas, giving you visibility into critical domains like patching, incident handling, ransomware protection, access control, and more.
You’ll see real-time risk scoring, endpoint hygiene insights, unsecured device detection, and encryption policy gaps – all in one place.
With over 100+ tracked hygiene and security events weekly, this report helps surface risks before regulators do – and offers a 1-click export for audit and internal governance reviews.
This is a key reporting tool for EU-regulated organizations and partners working with compliance-driven clients.
● SOC Report
The Security Operations Center (SOC) report offers MXDR customers and partners a one stop shop overview of the 24/7/365 MXDR activity occurred in their IT estate, during a maximum 30-day timeframe, providing pivotal information like: return on investment, Threat – hunting & Action Center risk scores overview, distribution of MXDR alerts over time and by criticality, MTTR, source of alerts etc.
Note: The availability of the SOC report is subject to the partner and/ or customer having the MXDR licensing option enabled.
The delivery, scheduling and configuration options of the SOC report are similar to the NIS2, C-level and Detailed product reports.
Heimdal’s MXDR operations resolve critical threats in under 15 minutes MTTR on average.
This report brings full transparency into threat escalations, endpoint isolations, and SOC-led remediation activity — all within your dashboard.
