This section displays all the applications that are installed on the machines that run the Heimdal™ Security suite in your organization, even if they are not patched by us.
The view can be activated from Endpoint Detection > Group Policy > Patch & Assets > Patch Management > Assets View
If you select Stacked, you have an overview of the names of the applications, their version, global unique identifier, on how many computers and servers they are installed, if they are uninstallable, and if they are supported by Heimdal™.
By clicking on the numbers next to the global unique identifier, a new page will open. Here you can check on which machines the software is installed on.
On the same page, by clicking on Details, you can find more information about the application: name, version, global unique identifier, publisher, and if it can be uninstalled or if it is patched by Heimdal™.
The Non-stacked option allows to view each version of the software and on which hostname it is installed.
When you select an application that has the green tick under the uninstallable column, you have the option to add it to a Group Policy’s uninstall list. Applications can be removed by Heimdal™ only in the cases where they can be uninstalled silently.
If an application has a green tick under the supported column, then you can add it to a Group Policy in which it is not selected for installation for easier management, so that it will be installed or kept up to date.
Hide Microsoft products button, if selected, will hide from Assets view all Microsoft products.
Monitored/Not Monitored filter
By using this filter, you will be able to see the application that is supported by Heimdal™ Patch & Asset Management or not. Make sure that after selecting the desired option, you click on Apply.
Monitored - will display only the applications that are supported for patching.
Not Monitored - will display only the applications that are not supported for patching.
Note!
When clicking the number of installed devices, transfer the filter state so it will show only the devices that have the app monitored/not monitored/all.
