Using DarkLayer Guard with Forticlient VPN

HEIMDAL™ Threat Prevention can be used with the Forticlient VPN. You just need to set split-exclude these IPs (these are the IPs addresses of our cloud services):

  • 40.119.146.250
  • 40.114.223.57
  • 40.87.128.228
  • 40.121.66.93
  • 52.172.28.76​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
  • 152.199.21.175
  • 168.63.8.217
  • 13.95.20.191
  • 52.166.12.23
  • optionally, this could be added as well: 127.7.7.0/24

NOTE

The two highlighted options below must be enabled in order to be able to use the Forticlient VPN with DarkLayer Guard.

These two options can be found in each group policy and you need to enable them in the group policy that is applied to the machines that are having both DarkLayer Guard and Forticlient VPN enabled

In order to find these option you need to:
1. Open the Group Policy
2. Go to the Threat Prevention tab
3. Click on the DarkLayer Guard tab
