Below are the 3rd-party applications that were tested by the Heimdal Security team for implementation within the 3rd Party Patch Management, but that could not be added because of different issues.
Greenshot - the application opens the developer's page in a browser after installation. The application cannot be patched while the previous version is still running.
Slack (EXE Installer and MSI per-user) - these installers install in the User context and are not detected by the HEIMDAL Agent.
Microsoft Teams - the application installs in the AppData folder of each user, thus requiring user permissions. The HEIMDAL Agent deploys the 3rd-party applications using the NT Authority\System user and thus cannot install the Microsoft Teams in the AppData folder.
TeamViewer (MSI Installer with custom settings) - 3rd Party Patch Management cannot patch a customized version of TeamViewer.
Zoom Client for Meetings (the EXE Installer) - the EXE Installer does not allow silent installation, while the application (installed from the EXE Installer) cannot be detected by the 3rd Party Patch Management because it installs in the Windows AppData folder. The EXE Installer does not require admin rights to be installed.
