These are the steps that you need to follow in case Heimdal Security downgrades from Pro/Family version to Free version. Sometimes, due to some internet connection lags, Heimdal loses his connection and Heimdal can't work without an internet connection.
- Please go to Start and right click on Computer and click on Manage:
- On the left side please expand Services and Applications
- Click on Services and on the right side please search for Heimdal Client and then right click on it and press Restart or Start.
Now Heimdal Security should work fine.
