What Can I Do If My Antivirus Is Blocking Thor's Traffic?

If you use an antivirus software or another application on your computer that scans the browsing traffic, we recommend you set exceptions for Thor's processes and for the Thor local installer.

You have to exclude Heimdal’s processes:

Heimdal.AgentError.exe

Heimdal.AgentLoader.exe

Heimdal.Antivirus.exe

Heimdal.ClientHost.exe

Heimdal.DarkLayerGuard.exe

Heimdal.DeliveryManager.exe

Heimdal.MonitorServices.exe

Heimdal.SetupLauncher.exe

Heimdal.ThorAgent.exe

Heimdal.ThorVigilanceScanStarter.exe

Heimdal.UptimeChecker.exe

Heimdal.VigilanceMonitor.exe

Heimdal.Wizard.exe

and the local installer path where you can find them is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Heimdal.

 

!Highly important: Do not use Thor Foresight engine in combination with another traffic scanning application because one will block the other and none of them will work 100%. We recommend you disable other traffic scanning applications installed locally before you enable Thor's DarkLayer Guard engine.

 

Additionally, try to add these exceptions in your antivirus or firewall:

http://heimdalprodstorage.blob.core.windows.net with local port 80;

https://cloudservice.heimdalsecurity.com with local port 443;

https://rc-cloudservice.heimdalsecurity.com with local port 443;

https://dashboard.heimdalsecurity.com with local port 443;

https://rc-dashboard.heimdalsecurity.com with local port 443;

https://prodcdn.heimdalsecurity.com with local port 443;

8.8.8.8 with local port 1.

  • 168.63.113.46
  • 40.114.223.57
  • 40.87.128.228
  • 40.121.66.93
