If I don't want Heimdal to patch a certain software, what do I need to do?

If you decided that you don't want Heimdal to patch on or more of your applications (although we do not recommend this), here is what you need to do:

  1. Open your Heimdal dashboard.
  1. Select the "Patching System" tab.
  1. In the Autoupdate column, uncheck the applications you want to exclude from Heimdal's monitoring and patching process.

The changes will have immediate effect and the selected applications will not be automatically and silently patched by Heimdal.

As the pictures show, in this moment, Heimdal only monitors Adobe AIR, but it will not automatically patch it anymore.
